Dear Trello, I am breaking up with you.

It’s over.

We had a great almost a decade together, but we should go our separate ways.

It’s not you, it’s me.

Is it you?

Or both?

Some might say that life is not binary, that it is never the fault of one or the other.

Yet here we are.

And btw, it’s definitely you.

I have changed and I want more from life, but you are still the same as when we first met all those 8 years ago.

I still remember the first day I saw you. You were the most beautiful and amazing thing I have ever seen. You were so elegant and classy.

Sure, we were both young, we both didn’t know where we wanted to be. But I grew up and learned which way I wanted to go, but you didn’t.

Let’s face it, we were having issues long before.

Since I started working from home, we spent all our time together and all the things we may have overlooked in order to make us work started to be painfully obvious.

I have realised I want more, that I need more.

Why should I stay when you are making my life harder and miserable?

I have changed and you didn’t.

I need more, I want more and you are not willing to grow.

You are simply not good for me anymore.

It is over.

Don’t try to chase after me.

I have moved on.

I have already met somebody.

We have known each other for a while, we have met a couple of times in the past, but never found a common interest.

But we have recently met again and boy, she has changed.

I was wowed like never before.

It felt like I had met her for the first time. You could almost hear Foreigner playing.

Goodbye beautiful. Thank you for all the time we had together.

I hope somebody else will love you like I used to.
